An exquisite Victorian brass columnar Corinthian table lamp, now converted to electricity from oil lamps, late 19th Century in date.

This opulent antique table lamp features Kingly Corinthian Capital decorated with classical ornate foliage in the form of splendid acanthus leaves above striking shafts. The detail is astonishing and very beautiful.  

Standing on a large and very heavy weighted stepped square base.

In excellent working condition having been beautifully cleaned and rewired

Slight dent on base, please see pictures

Fully rewired using 3 core braided fabric cable with new switched lamp holder (B22 Bayonet, bulb not included), UK 3 pin plug and PAT inspected

Cleaning, Polishing & Restoration

All our collections have been through our workshop and where possible, we always try to maintain the original finish preserving the patina and colour, some items are sympathetically restored and this is done by our own skilled craftsmen using only traditional methods

We complete a full assessment, re-wire and PAT inspection on all lighting. The full assessment can include general upkeep and updating – Fitting new lamp holders, deep cleaning, minor repairs and replacement of fragile metal pins are all part of our service. Rewiring includes a standard rewire to conform with UK electrical regulations to an adaptation or conversion
